Rage Factor / The Review
The one-off gig at Finsbury Park went down as a massive hit, The event was well organized With good facilities, There was plenty of different food stalls and with three massive beer tents getting a drink was easy with very little queuing as well as good toilet facilities, The are of the park that was fenced off for the event was of a very large size that gave the 40,000 spectators plenty of room to move as well as lay down or sit on the grass to enjoy the London sunshine, Although early in the day there was rain the ground soon dried out in the sun, A little shower later in the day tried to dampen peoples spirits but to no effect as by this time every one was enjoying the great sounds of the headline act, The support bands kept the crowds entertained and won over many new fans.
Opening their set with 'Testify' the band led by Zack de la Rocha were relentless with their energetic sounds throughout. This Rage Against The Machine energetic set included the favorites ‘Know
Your Enemy’, ‘Township Rebellion' and ‘Bullet In The Head’ as well as the grand finale track which sent the crowd in to a frenzy which was the US band's 1992 hit ‘Killing In The Name’ that was the 2009 No. 1 which made the whole Rage Factor gig possible, The Rage Factor event will top many other gigs/concerts or festivals that will take place this year and the best thing about it all was that it was 100% FREE.
