On Saturday 23rd July 2011 The talented singer and song-writer Amy Winehouse was found dead in her London flat, aged only 27 she is the latest musician to join the tragic 27 Club.
Amy Winehouse has been found dead in her London flat, she has long battled with her demons, addicted to drugs and alcohol her highs and lows have been published as much as her amazing musical talents,
The five time Grammy award-winning British singer and songwriter famed for her powerful contralto vocals, mixed with an eclectic mix of musical genres including R&B, soul and jazz, had collected 23 awards from 58 nominations for various music ceremonies, which was very impressive considering she had only released two albums Frank (2003) and Back to Black (2006), Amy's biggest hit single was ironically a song called “Rehab” and she othen documented her troubled life within her songs, her death is currently being treated as unexplained however not before long the coroner will likely give the cause of death as overdose,

The 27 Club
The 27 Club has many famous members and is named after the age at which the musicians die, although people can and will die at any age it seems in the music industry 27 years seems a popular age to pass away, some believe it to be a phenomenon with some of the deaths occurring in strange circumstances, and in all the case it a waste of so much young talent, This club can sometimes be referred to as the Forever 27 Club or Club 27, some of the other great influential music artists who have all died at the age of 27 and are subsequently members of this tragic group include,

I tell you, I'm just so sad over this lady's death. I loved her voice, and "Back to Black" was terrific. Thanks for commemorating her in this hub.
